I have been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months and have started using ovulation predictor kits the last three months. This month when I have been testing there is a line everytime I test, but it is not as dark or darker than the test line. I have taken about 5 tests. So I take this as a negative--but other times when I have used OPKs I have not always had a line. It may fade in to dark or there will be no line at all. Is this normal? Anyone had the same experience.
I am using one step predictor test--it has lines. I have used them in the past and been okay. I normally do not continue to see lines or there is a fade in and then a positive reading. Next time I may have to purchase I different kind. I just wondered if something else could be going on-or maybe this is close to my ovulation--I have some other symptoms--clear cvm and high cervix.
(what the test is for)is rising and falling all the time. Sometimes you may have a lighter line than the control others maybe nothing at all. The main idea is, when the line is AS DARK or DARKER than the control line, then O is approaching. Sometimes, the line will be as dark as the control line, but only half way full, that is usually a negative as well.
I used the answer brand. There would be times when I would always have a line, and then one day it would get darker. Or I have had months where there would be no line at all and then all of a sudden have a line one day. I think if the line is there for a few days you are getting closer to O.
Thank you! I have been having irregular periods and crazy hormones, so I just wanted to make sure those things were not affecting the tests. I am glad to know seeing a line is normal!
