ovulation predictor--conitnual lines

ovulation predictor--conitnual lines

I have been trying to get pregnant for about 6 months and have started using ovulation predictor kits the last three months.  This month when I have been testing there is a line everytime I test, but it is not as dark or darker than the test line.  I have taken about 5 tests.  So I take this as a negative--but other times when I have used OPKs I have not always had a line.  It may fade in to dark or there will be no line at all.  Is this normal?  Anyone had the same experience.

I'm not sure what tests you are using so I don't know what to tell you, however, I now use the clearblue digital opk because I got confused ttrying to read the lines.  These either give you a O if your not and a smiley face if you are ovulating. Much simpler to me.

I am using one step predictor test--it has lines.  I have used them in the past and been okay.  I normally do not continue to see lines or there is a fade in and then a positive reading.  Next time I may have to purchase I different kind.  I just wondered if something else could be going on-or maybe this is close to my ovulation--I have some other symptoms--clear cvm and high cervix.

It is perfectly normal to have lines or nothing at all. Lh (what the test is for)is rising and falling all the time. Sometimes you may have a lighter line than the control others maybe nothing at all. The main idea is, when the line is AS DARK or DARKER than the control line, then O is approaching. Sometimes, the line will be as dark as the control line, but only half way full, that is usually a negative as well.

I used the answer brand.  There would be times when I would always have a line, and then one day it would get darker.  Or I have had months where there would be no line at all and then all of a sudden have a line one day.  I think if the line is there for a few days you are getting closer to O.

Thank you!  I have been having irregular periods and crazy hormones, so I just wanted to make sure those things were not affecting the tests.  I am glad to know seeing a line is normal!
