just curious if any one knows hoe much this will mess with my af i had it done june 3 and today is my 22cd so i
go to the doc tues to fine out what to do next since i had a blocked
Hmmm! I have no idea, Apes...but I do have a question for you, if you don't mind...did your doctor say anything about TTC the month of the lap, or do you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can try again after? I might have one done sometime soon, too, so just wondering if it would put me "out of commission" for a while after.
You know all the doc said before the procedure was that we were suppose to try that month of the procedure but did not say anything about after the procedure, I even asked my husband if he said anything to him after the surgery and he said no. And to be honest we bd'd like four days after. I will find out on tues and will let you know if he says anything. Yes he was able to clear the tube and also remove the endo i guess he told my husband that we were good to go now so i hope that means he thinks this was our problem the whole time, but i don't know. So why are you having the procedure done
Apes,
lap did not affect my AF. It was a little longer than usual, as I recall.
Heather5,
I had a lap in the beginning of my cycle, like cd8. My OPK turned positive about 5 days after and we bd'd. It did not work but probably not because of the lap. You cannot be pregnant before the lap but after you can try right away (when you feel up to it).
I had my lap done in May and we couldn't BD for a week...but trying after that week is fine. As far as the AF mine ended up being a week late after my laparoscopy
of endo but nothing seriously hurting my chance of conceiving. Both of my tubes were flushed again too and we are going to start trying again in July or August.
Thanks, girls! That makes me feel a little better about having a possible lap :-)
Apes: That's so great that they were able to remove the endo and clear the tube!!! Hopefully, things will turn around for you after this and you'll get your BFP very soon!
