period lasting for more than a week,,,

Hi Everybody,
I took a break from TTC last month, my af was due on 1st, but i got them only as spotting on cd35,
it normallt start to take flow on the night or next day i spotted, but it spotted like this for 5days, then it was very very scanty,,now today i had some red blood, before that everyhting was brown,,:( huh,,,
What is this? I have ovulation issues?
I took a test on 34th day it was clear negative,,,should i take one more test?

Thanks a lot,,i will take a test tomorrow,,and see if the spotting stops,,

Hello,

Actually the spotting you had wouldn't count as your AF.  The time that you started "bleeding" as an actual flow would be the first day of AF.  Now, as far as spotting, that can happen for several reasons.  Most of the time it's from having low Progesterone.  Have you ever had a hormone level check done? If not, then you should ask your GYN to take those tests and you'll know where to begin.  For now, I would start by looking up facts regarding BBT charting and using OPK tests to find out whether or not you're ovulating.  Of course I'd take another HPT to be sure that you're not preggo already.
