does a abortion lower your risk of getting pregnant again because i had a abortion at 17 and im now 22 and havent gotten pregnant since even thou ive been trying. And for the past month my period had been on for 2 weeks straight at first it was light bleeding but on the 2nd week it went to heavy blleding now its lightning back up do anybody know what the problem could be i want to be pregnent so bad

How long have you been trying?  I know an abortion can cause scarring of your uterine walls which COULD interfere with the baby implanting properly.  But I know plenty of women who had abortions (some had multiple abortions) and went onto become pregnant afterwards.  You're young, so if you have been trying for about a year then you should see your gyn and ask for an infertility work-up so they can get started trying to pinpoint your problem.

I think the people who had fertility problems from abortions had theirs when things were a lot different. You'll probably be fine, it's too early worry, but do schedule an appointment. Good luck!
