Thanks so much. It is nice to hear a positive ending. :) I hope the increase in dose will do the trick for me as well. Congrats on your pregnancy!
Thanks so much for the response. Sorry to hear about your losses. Like you I have gotten pg naturally 3 times but lost all. They are trying to help prevent the next loss using meds but so far I have not gotten pg on any medicated cycles. The waiting really does stink. I am now in my 4th year of waiting... Good luck to you. I hope you get bfp soon as well!
When I did my first blood work check after starting Gonal, my RE upped my dosage because I was not responding as well as he had hoped. At the next check, he maintained the same dosage and carried that through retrieval. That one change did the trick as he retrieved 10, fertilized 9 and transferred 2. We froze 5. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant, so yes, there's still hope. The check points are exactly that-- an opportunity for the RE to adjust as needed. Good luck!
I have heard that every month you can have a different response to meds..I was on follistim and menopur for IVF and only ended up with 3 eggs.and I was on the highest dose...we still went ahead with the procedure but it didnt work..
Then I switched doctors and we did an IUI with the same meds but I was on a very low dose this time and I had 5 eggs, it didnt work either..
and when I was on different meds, I think bravelle and we did injections and BD I had like 8 eggs..
For me no medicated assisted procedure has ever worked ,but I have gotten pregnant naturally 4 times, no meds at all..unfortunetly they all ended..
But my point is anything can happen and unfortunetly we just have to wait and see which stinks, this whole ttc process is nothing but waiting..
Good Luck to you! I hope you get your bfp!!
