I took the hcg injection 13 days ago. Today I had 2 positive preg tests at home. unfortunately, it's Friday, so I can't talk to my doc until Monday :( I am trying not to get my hopes up until I know for sure... just wondering how long the trigger injection usually stays in your system? Also, I have been having symptoms of fatigue and lower back pain. Any thoughts would be appreciated! *fingers
the trigger should be out of your system!
so what i did was test each morning and the lines getting darker each day helped make me feel better my levels were increasing :)
congrats!
Oh my - sounds promising, doesnt it? The 2 times i took the hCG trigger, it was outta my system in 10 days. I tested daily starting arond 8 days after the trigger to make sure it was out - and it definitely had gone at 10 days after the injection. When that beautiful line re-appeared at 11 dpo, i knew that something good was in the works!
Hi there, Ok, I REALLY don't want this to sound like I'm trying to be negative at all - however I just wanted to share my experience with the Hcg shot (because it was not fun and I hate the thought of you getting POSSIBLY so disappointed. Like GiGiGiGi, I would test to see when the shot left my system and it always was gone by the 10th day after the shot. However one cycle my home pregnancy tests came out positive right up until I got my period. Now, having said thi my period was 3 days late so it could have been a chemical pregnancy but when my fertility specialist did the blood pregnancy test on the 3rd day after I missed my period the blood test was negative for pregnancy. Again, this could have been a chemical pregnancy and by the time I got the blood work done my pregnancy hcg hormone could have been gone, but it also could have just been a fluke and the trigge shot stayed in my system for longer then usual. It's really impossible to tell at that point. PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG - I TRULY HOPE YOURS IS REAL!!! Sorry I just hate hearing
sorry I sould have mentioned that on that particular cyle I did a hpt on the 11th day right up until the 14th day after my hcg shot (which was the day I should have got my period) and they were all very positive. But then I stopped testing at home and 3 days later (17 days past the hcg trigger sot) I went for blood pregnancy test and it was negative and then that very same afternoon my AF showed up. Again, that could have very well been a chemical pregnancy.
Keep me posted!!!
Sound like we are in the same boat! I took a HPT this am and it was positive. I am also concerned that it could be false positive due to trigger. I am 13 days post IUI so 15 days post trigger. I also have to wait til Monday to call RE to schedule Beta. From everything I have read it seems like trigger should be out of your system by day 10 or 11 but I guess you never know for sure based on teddybearkits post. I hope for both of us that it is out of our systems!
thanks for all the advice, guys! my nurse called and told me my beta hcg numbers look great!! they will be bringing me in every few days for bloodwork to make sure my numbers continue to increase...YAY!!! anyway, i'm keeping the good news quiet for now, just to be on the safe
I had a trigger shot on March 29th and I had three positive HPT tests on April 14th and again on the 16th. I had a blood tests but I won't get the results till tomorrow. Any thoughts?
