post IVF estradial question

2 weeks post  IVF Transfer
am pregnant
taking estradial 3x a day
taking prometrium 3x a day, vaginally

don't think I took m 2nd estradial so took 2nd about 3 hours late.
not really sure if i took as scheduled or not, do I take the third tonight (could be 4) or do i just wait until tomorrow morning

No worries! There's actually a lot of talk about whether or not estradiol (or estrogen) is even that important after IVF. The progesterone, on the other hand, is crucial....so make sure you take those every day! Best of luck with everything and congratulations on your pregnancy!

The good thing is that you missed the estradiol and not the prometrium.  Estrogen stays around in the body much more than progesterone does.  My estrogen was in twice-weekly shots, and when I asked my doctor why they prescribed that I take them Wednesday evening and Sunday evening (clearly not exactly the halfway point in a given week, it was an every third day, every fourth day schedule) I was told there was still residual estrogen from the last shot even by the fourth day.  Not so with prometrium, it fades quickly out of your system, they were definite that I had to be pretty much to the hour and minute on those.  You're good.
