postive opk 17 DPO, Evap line?

Sorry to take up space but I'm confused,
I am 17 DPO, never got a postive opk, but my chart said I should have ovulated around CD 12,
I got nothing but negitive tests all through 14 DPO, I thought my period should start, now I took a test last night, and never looked at it till this morning but it is a positive, but could also be an EVap line, I took and OPK, and it was just i'm pretty sure positive, I havent got two lines with them before.
and my temps have gone from 97.6 down to 96.2 back up to 98.8 and then down again today to 97.6???
I dont think I am pregnant but this is really confusing? I should start my period anytime now this is my first real cycle after a m/c

Are you sure you O?  maybe your cycle is screwed up...with temps like that, that's how mine was when I wasn't O.  If you pretty certain you did, try testing in a day or two in the morning with first morning urine.  Oh, and the OPK's are pretty unreliable if your checking for pg.  If there are two lines in the OPK, one needs to be as dark or darker than the other...just two lines on it isn't a pos.  I hope you're pg...oh, and if you can't wait, go to the dr and get blood test...can't hurt? :)

Something kind of similar happened to me... 2 days before af was supposed to come I took a hpt and I thought I saw a line, although it was so light I couldn't tell if there was any color to it.  I ended up taking another test 2 hours later and it was a darker pink and then I knew it was positive.  not too sure about checking the test the next day (not sure if it's considered accurate).  I checked out peeonastick.com and they have quite a bit of info about evap lines and hpt's in general.  Good luck I hope it was a bfp!

Well you might be preggers. Test and read it in the time frame. and with opk's you might not test at the right time to see your surege.
