I am going to have my coil removed on friday 6th jan. I have had it in for 6months and now me and my partner would like to start trying for another baby. i would just like to hear from any1 who has had it in for the same amount of time and if it has taken them long to full pregnant. If so then please can you tell me all about it. I am going to start on the folik acid on friday. My doctor adviced me to start using it now. Thank you very much.

Fertility returns soon after removal of the coil and you can try conception after getting one normal period after the coil removal.
