pregnancy 1 month after misscarriage

Hi I am new to this forum:)  I am very nervous and wanted to see if anyone else was in a similar situation.  I had a natural misscarriage on 12-1-06 at 6 weeks.  Of course it was a terrible. We were very excited....it was my first pregnany....I am 27.   I got my period on dec. 24 and think I may have conceived on jan 14-15.  But I had no idea and have noticed my period id late.  I just took a test and it was positive.  This would make me about 4 weeks along.  I have been having slightly tender breasts on the sides and very bad gas( sorry i know thats gross)  I am very nervous that I will miscarry again. The minor symptoms i have  are the exact same as last time.  Is that normal or is that bad. It worries me that they are the same and then I had a miscarriage last time. I have abso. no morning sickness at all.  I read somewhere that people with morning sickness and nausea are less likey to miscarry.  Is that true?  So now I am really freaking out. Do you think minor symptoms are a bad sign.  Please let me know your opinions.  I will try and speak to my doc. tomorrow.....I just am hesitant to get exctited at all eventhough I want this to be ok so bad.

well first of all congratulations!!! and i know to say not to worry is craziness but try to keep your hopes up. not every woman has morning sickness with each pregnancy, and usually it doesn't begin until around 6 weeks. call your doc tommorrow and see if he/she will do some serial hcg's to make sure your hcg levels are doubling. and have yourself a strawberry daquiri to celebrate! Honey don't worry yourself.  Just relax.  I to had a m/c back in Nov.  I wish I could have gotten preg. right away like you.  I'm currently in the TTW with a good week to go before I can test.  I had NO morning sickness or nausea with my previous 3 kids.  I had no problem concieving or carrying them.  This is the first I'm hearing of having morn. sick. and being less likey to m/c.  God has a plan for everyone of us.  Why he does what he does we don't know but he sure does.  I pray for you that everything works out.  Having the same symptoms as before are just the early preg. signs that so many of us feel.  Just sit down and relax and let me know what the doc says tomorrow.

There are sooo many women on this forum that mc and conceive 2-3 wks later and are doing great. Special teacher, anxious4baby, angelabee, laura and so many others. I know because I watch their posts. I m/c 1/3 and d&c 1/4 at 12 full wks. I o'd 1/19ish and am in tww. Their stories keep me going knowing that it is possible to go on after m/c and have a healthy baby. Try not to stress, I know it is hard, I(hopefully)will be in same boat soon, and will, of course worry. lol

I've never heard of morning sickness being an indicator of miscarriage.  In fact I think it's odd if you don't experience it.  I never did, always thought that was weird.  But not an indicator of miscarriage.

I never had sympotms with either of my pg's.  I had two healthy baby boys--after a miscariage a year and half earlier.  Congrats and just take care of yourself.
