Just looking for some positive feedback. I was diagnosed 2 months ago with advanced endometriosis. I've been told to try and conceive asap and if i have not after six months to return to gp. We tried this month but were unsuccessful. Just wondering did anyone conceive soon after endometriosis removal? How long were you trying? I know everyone is different but just looking for some positive stories. I also had a large endometrioma cyst removed from my left ovary.
Hey girl, ok so i have done this twice. the first time was back in November of 2009. We got pregnant in Jan of 2010 We had been trying for 2 years when i had the surgery. I carried that baby for 12 wks and my water broke. We tried on our own for a little while but then did iui in August because we knew tim was running out. got bfp but lost that one at 10 weeks. did a 2nd iui bfn. did a 3rd iui in Feb and bfp but lost it on April 1st. dr told us endo was more then likely back. we got prego again but lost it right away just one + pregnancy test and nothing else.
that brings us to the second surgery for endo. that was in June. We tried natural for 2 months and then did another iui it was bfn. tried natural a few more months got one bfp but then got af so re said it was a chemical pregnancy. tried one more month natural bfn. went in to do iui this month and was told i had a cyst on RO. Now i am on birth control for one month and then another us and then iui again.
I hope this helps. If u have any questions feel free to email me.
Hi, I was also diagnosed with severed endometriosis in April 2011. I have endometriomas on my left and right ovaries. My gyno said he could try and save my left ovary by doing a robotic surgery but he may have to remove the entire ovary all together. He then said if I want to try and have children my only chance would be through IVF. I went to an Reproductive Endochronologist (RE) and she did a test to see if my tubes were blocked
and they were. She also did water test on my uterus and it is perfectly fine. So my only option is IVF. We tried our 1st cycle in September and I did get pregnant but it was a chemical pregnancy. We then began our 2nd IVF cycle in the end of November and now I am waiting to ge my pregnancy test tomorrow morning. I will know the results in the afternoon. Let's hope it works.
I hope this helps out some. When I first found this website, I was looking to find other people who had been diagnosed with severe endometriosis and were still able to have a healthy baby. I still haven't found anyone on this website, but I have made friends who are going thru the same infertility
Thanks so much for your reply. I really hope it Works out for you. I've to try naturally until may and then go back to gp. Trying to stay positive. I agree this website is a great comfort. I will keep you posted on my success or otherwise.
