prog. levels

i got my prog. level check on day 21 and it was a 56.  this is my second round of clomid.  is there a chance that i could be pregnant?  if not why are levels so high?

Progesterone is alwys higher on a medicated cycle.  The level depends on the # of follies.  Typically progesterone should be above 10 on a regular cycle but above 15 on a medicated cycle.  Although your high level indicates that you definitely O'd it's not a sign of pregnancy.

hi, As Helen sais progesterone on cd21 tell u if u ovulated or not, not pregnancy.
But at that number looks like u ovulated 2-3 eggs...so ur chances could be pretty good. Good luck

I agree. At least 2 eggs is what it seems like. Many even more! I had a 17 level on clomid and popped 2 (we did an US). So your numbers look GREAT! Can't always go by those numbers for preggo-ness though :) You may not have even implanted yet - keeping my fingers crossed for ya!
