My luteral phase for the past 2 months has been 10 days and 9 days.  I also have been having light periods ( 2 1/2 days long )with major cramps, pinching and aching.
I had a miscarriage 5 months ago - could it be from that?

I don't have a short luteal phase, but I did try progesterone cream one month. I stopped using it after that, though, since I was warned against it by another poster. I guess they're not regulated by the FDA, so you don't know how much you're getting. Therefore, it's probably better to ask your doctor for a prescription (like prometrium) if you want to supplement with progesterone.

You could also try vitamin B6. Some of the women on here been able to lengthen their luteal phase that way (although I guess it can take a few months before you see results).

How long is your luteal phase now?
