hi, i am post 7days of blastocyst embryo transfer.i was detected with UTI on the day of my egg pickup.3eggs were retrived and 2 blastocyst embryo were transfered on 15th sep. and also i was given injection for 7days I/ V for the treatment of uti.my problem is that i m afraid that this UTI treatment will effect the embryo to implant.i m frustated and sad coz i had 2 failed ivf before. please help me.

UTI is fairly common during pregnancy and is treated w/o ill effects on the baby.  I don't think it can affect implantation.  Besides, the meds do not affect the embryo/baby till placenta develops and there is an exchange between you and your baby.

thanks a lot helen....i m now quite relaxed but anxious for my results.i dn't know how to
deal with the stress of ivf.every moment i used to wonder what it is going to be this time?
i d;nt feel any symtoms (symptoms) rather then mild cramping in my lower abdomin (abdomen) sometimes.
                       how was your experience? realy anxious to know.this is shalini from india.
