question about my cycle...anyone?

this month I spotted on the cd28, but I af REALLY came heavy on day cd33. So in order to properly calculate my o time do I count the first day of spotting cd28 (even though it was really light for 5 days) or when I actually started a flow cd33??

hi Nicki1010,

I would try posting your question as a new question rather than on this thread, you may have more luck getting an answer. Sorry to hear you are having trouble and even more sorry but I haven't got any answers for you. babydust xx

I had a question I hope you ladies can help then. MY last cycle was 36 days but i believe i counted wrong. Because I started spotting i would say it was light i put a tampoon but it didnt even fill a jr tampoon up.on the 12th i spotted 13 14 and the 15 i stopped then potted on the 16 once and i was done. I had no AF symptoms this last month no cramping nothing. I had a dull pain one day in my back witch is normal. Last month i didnt see my ewcm at all. this month I have some cm thats creamy but not as much as i normaly have sorry tmi. So my question is did i have AF. OR is my bdy just out of wack because now i pay attention to everything.=)  thank you so much for any input

Just talked to my nurse about this very subject.  She told me every Dr. she has ever worked with says spotting doesn't count. It is your first day of flow.  I was doing the same thing as you, good luck.

Hello,

I've been charting for years!  The first day of your cycle is the first day of (red) flow, rather it be light, medium or heavy.  Spotting should never be counted as your first day.

Hi,

I've read that you are meant to count from the first day of spotting. I often get what you have described - it's so frustrating!!!
