question about sore breasts

Hi Ladies,

My husband and i are trying for a baby again.  My first pregnancy ended when my baby girl was stillborn at 33 weeks at the end of february.  As devastating as it was and still is, we are determined to have a baby.  Anyway, my  i noticed my breasts are sore (like before a period) today.  According to how i'm charting my cycles, i'm not due to ovulate until May 11.  My question is, dore sore breasts always indicate that ovulation has already occurred?  I've read that breasts don't become sore until after O.  Of course, it's possible i'm not charting my cycles correctly and miscalculated O.  As per doctor's advice, i did wait until I had  a normal period before we started thinking about trying.  any answers or advice is appreciated.

Thank you both for your comments.  I think i already O'd...that's what all the signs are pointing to anyway.  The next time my hubby and i try, I will try charting my temps as well.  Part of me really wants to keep trying but also i started thinking today that maybe i'm not emotionally ready to handle another pregnancy right now.  i think i need to wait a little longer before we try again.  When and if i ever get pregnant again, i'm sure i'll be nervous wreck the entire time.  anyway, thanks for the support and comments.

I applaud your strength for having the faith to try again after your loss.  But as far as the sore breasts, mine get sore the day of or after O for a couple of days and then get sore again right before and during AF.  However, when I was having a hormonal imbalance recently they were sore almost every day of the cycle.  I know that caffeine can make them sore also.  I hope this helps.

Good luck!

If my breast get sore, it is usually only a day or two before AF.  Since I've been off the pill, that really hasn't happened too much.  Have you tried charting your temperture? I have found that to be the best way to track my cycles.  Best of luck to you.  Sorry for your loss.
