question for ppl using donor sperm

i was wondering if any of you are using known donor sperm? we are having a heck of a time finding one that we can really trust.do any of you have a donor that would be willing to donate to us? we would pay for the shipper,shipping through biotranz, we are looking for white,height and weight dont matter,hair and eye color ,(hubby and i both have brown hair,mine is wavy his straight) i have brown eyes,his hazel. any ifon would be greatly appreciated,we are eager to get started,hoping to try this coming cycle,thanks in advance for any/all info,

You really should look into going through a sperm bank.  Laws for known donors are very loose and you risk to loose a lot with your child.  A known donor can change his mind at ANY time and request visitation and shared/joint/full custody.  Most all states will side on the bio. dad in a court case.  Even if he has signed a contract earlier stating he doesn't want any rights to the child.  There is also the genentic testing, STD's, hereditary disorders, all of these are tested for in sperm banks.  You won't get that with a known donor.  There isn't any clinic that will grant you an IUI or assist you in any way with infertility treatments with a known donor unless and until you've had the donor screened through them and then the sample has to be quarantined for 6 months to give certain cells time to grow to check for STD's and other stuff.  I would recommend you save yourself headache in the long run and spend a couple hundred dollars on a donor that has been fully screened and can not claim any rights to your child at all.  Did you ever talk with the dr. who does the vas.reversals?
