really overweight and trying to get preg. can anyone tell me!!

hello everyone im new in here..im 26 years old with PCOS have been ttc for 1 1/2 year now..i weight 300lbs i was first dx with PCOS in nov.06 my ob put me on met and i have lost 50 lbs with it..i just finished taking my last clomid pill yesterday this is my first round and im really enxcious to see whats goin to happen im hoping to get a BFP soon or to at least know that im ovulating i go for my u/s on  the 26th..i guess im just nervous and i wanted to hear other people success stories who are really overweight like i am thank god i have doctors who dont look at me as being a weight issue and i have managed to lose weight on my own my RE is very incorauging but i just want to hear it from other womans who have been tru what im going tru it would just be nice! thank you guys

I am over weight too I had trouble getting PG I ended up doing IVF and now I am carring Twins 20 weeks PG I have only gained 11 pounds they say the normal is 10 for a single so I feel pretty good about that. I don't wanna put any more stress on my body than need be I startted at 265.. Last baby I gained 13lbs and the first one I gained 100lbs yes 100lbs.. So I changed my diet LOL best of luck to you..

hey there girls when i had my dd i was a beautiful 160 (didnt think so at the time) while i was preg i got all the way up to 199 and after she was born i got back down to 170 and that is where everything went down hill (or uphill as the case may be) but by the time she was one i weighed 240 lbs and we decided to try again for another baby. well we tryed for a year on our own, then went to the doc and they ran all their tests and found that i wasnt ovulating and so they put me on Clomid the firt month on that i got preg but m/c at 5 weeks and then we proceded to do clomid for 5 more months and then decided to take a break and low and behold i got preg that month and now have a beautiful 16 motnh old ds. we are  now trying for #3 at 250 but we are trying nothing invasive like clomid right now i have started the nutrisystem diet and i hope to lose a little so that i can get preg.
