result of IUI

anyone can tell me if they have already experience with IUI?is it really working?is it possible that u can have twins or multiple birth thru IUI?how many shot possibly that u could get pregnant?

I've read ALOT of success stories with IUIs. I have heard that it can take about 3 times for it to work. I just did my first IUI and I got a BFN today. Multiples are a possability with any fertility treatment. About multiples Jon and Kate Plus 8 did IUI. Multiples are definatly a risk. I'm hoping for better luck next time. Good luck to you... Multiples are usually a result of fertility medications which are sometimes combined with IUI. You can do IUI with or without medications. Most people opt for the combo of meds + iui to increase your chances for successful conception. Talk to your dr. about what would be the best protocol for your specific situation. Good Luck
