Hi I was just wandering if anyone has a retroverted uterus and how difficult it was to conceive, because i just found out i have one and we have been trying for the past few months...thanks
Is that the same as a tilted uterus? Because I have a tilted uterus, and I've had three kids, my youngest is 8 yrs old. I was on b/c for 6 years after I had her. Now I've been ttc ever since.. No luck.. Sorry if I haven't helped you much.. GOOD LUCK
. i have a very retroverted uterus. i did have fertility problems but for other reasons. I am 34w2d along today. Shape of uterus can have more of an impact on fertility for instance if you have a septum
Maybe this will help. I also have a tilted uterus, but I didn't know it until I was pregnant with my first child nine years ago.
Since you have only been trying for the last couple of months, I would say more than likely not an issue. Try some different positions in the bed that may allow for better opening of cervix during your fertile days leading up to O, day of O, and day after.
I found this website:

And specifically, these two paragraphs were interesting:
Remember that a tipped uterus in no way can hamper with your fertility or your chances of getting pregnant. Some women are born with their uterus tilted forward or backward. Often with a pregnancy and delivery
of a baby, the uterus goes back to the normal position. A tipped uterus is typically only thought to be problematic when trying to conceive after all other possible reasons for fertility problems have been investigated and ruled out. If there is no other explanation for your fertility problems a uterine
to difficulties in getting pregnant. Since a tipped uterus makes sexual intercourse very painful and difficult, it can come in the way of getting pregnant but does not affect your fertility. If a doctor determines that it is causing a problem for you when trying to conceive, the uterus can be tipped into its correct position. Straightening out the uterus can often enable a woman to become pregnant, if that was the reason for the failure to conceive
