semi-IVF,please help&advice

has any 1 tried taking pitutary inhibitor with ovulating inducers,iam starting it this month ,it is inj.called decapeptil,it is pitutary inhibitor to stop pitutary gland&make stimulators bring more than 1 fertile ovum,dr.said it is semi IVF but without ovum taking,fertilizing&returning to implant,just same IVF protocol of drugs but with normal bd,has any tried this?how it goes?what side effects does it bring?any success stories with it,plz help ineed any advice.

I have prescribed this approach in the past, but not for quite a few years. I don't think there is anything wrong with this approach, but I am not sure what benefit it offers you over treatment protocols without the decapeptyl.

Thanks for your concern,iam one you answered before if you remember having atypical pco,no hairsutism&not obese,just inverted FSH&LH levels on day 3,idid HSG&was excellent&endometrium thickness is always perfect,my husband semen analysis is excellent,iwas on ovulatory stimulators,i do ovulate from a year passed,ovulation was late about cd20-23 then with puregon inj.i made it in right time(cd14)but i never get pregnant,last month idid iui but also nothing,u told me before that this may be unexplained infertility&i agree with you,as for the pitutary inhibitor iam taking decapeptil 0.1mg&fostimon 150(ovulatory inducer),as u knowdecapeptil is GnRH agonist,iam taking it for 2 reasons as my dr.say,1st to delete the high LH effect on ovulation,2nd to release more than 1 mature ovum so as to increase the chances&as my body refuse to release more than 1 ovum each month even with increasing the doses of inducers.
INEED your medical advice&vision on my case,why do you think iam not getting pregnant with all these ova(about 12 months ovulation uptill now)?
do you think that these decapeptil inj.gonna do deference with me?
iread about GnRH antagonists&that they are recently used to stop pitutary within 2hours.do u think which is better agonist or antagonist?
is there anything else u recomend for me?
