sept iui looking for buddies

I will be doing an IUI in September.  AF should come the end of August so that would put me having an IUI in September.  I'm not sure of the meds yet. Let's keep in touch!

I am due for iui in sep as well; am on letrozole days 5-9 and would be going for a day12 scan next week

AF started yesterday for me and I will be starting femara/letrozol on day 3-7. Once I get a + Opk then I will be doing my 2nd round of IUI! Keep us posted :)

ANY THAT IS DOING FOLLISTIM DOES THE INJ HURT AND HOW ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE MED. AF STARTING TODAY SO HAVE PUT CALL IN TO START THE SCHEDULE. :)

I'm not doing follistim with IUI, but I used it with IVF.  It wasn't so bad.  I had to give it in my arm.  It left a bruise, but I was also taking aspirin.  Not sure of the side effects because I was taking so many meds at the same time.  I had extreme moodiness, bloating, overall tiredness and aches.  Good luck!
I am still waiting on AF to start my first IUI cycle.  It was due Sunday, but still nothing!  UGHHH!

i know it is awful waiting for something to come that you really dont want to come, have you taken a test? i go for the first ultrasound in the morning then find out what strength of meds to start taking. how many rounds have you been thru?

hey I took Follistim last cycle and the injections were actually not that bad. the needles are very thin and short. I thought it was going to be because of the needle and all but it did not hurt. I had hubby do it for me so i wouldn't have to stick myself and see the needle and all that .. lol try that I did not have any side effects to complain about, but everyone is different, but it did work I did ovulate so it does work!! yeah... I start my next round on wed but I will be using gonal F .. anyway good luck to u and SSBD!!!!

I did I cycle of clomid, that didn't work, I cycle of Follistim  it did work, and tomorrow I am starting Gonal F ..so we will see ! good luck to u!

This will be my first IUI, using DS.  I did IVF/ICSI in May with my husband.  I got pregnant but had a miscarriage.  We didn't have any embies make it to freezing so we have to start over. Can't afford another IVF, so we decided to try IUI with DS.  Not ideal, but we are going to try. DH shoots blanks so NO need for tests!  :)

yea dh is almost sterile to :( he's on clomid been on for 1 month now so keeping fingers crossed. we found out when we first started trying to conceive our 1st child we both had problems and were told there was no way to conceive on our own we were actually pregnant then :) this time not such luck tho, been trying for 3yrs now. did clomid for 4months but overstimulated my ovaries and cyst craze so no more for me. wish all luck!!
