should I be concerned with a polyp in my uterus

Last January I had a Laparascopy to remove Endometriosis. They also found that I have a polyp in my uterus. My periods have been a lot better, but in between periods I'm feeling a pressure on my blatter and rectum. Some days it's more tolerable than others. My husband and I are trying to start a family and I've read that polyps can carry a higher risk for miscarriages. My doctor told me that I should not be concerned about it (eventhough he tried to dilate me during my Laparascopy-without success) but I'm starting to think I need a second oppinion.

I also had a polyp Sept. 2009 and it was removed since they saw it first in July 2009.  Usually they keep in eye on it and at some point, if it is not gone, they suggest removing it.  Some women have trouble conceiving with a polyp, but others still do.

I would highly recommend going for a 2nd opinion. I had one removed last Sept. I am doing IVF & was not allowed to start until it was removed.
Best Wishes to you!
