Hi and welcome to the forum!
You are in the terrible 2 weeks waiting..its so stressful ..all of us know what you are going through!!
Did you have a 3 day transfer or a 5 day?
If it was a 3 day transfer it might be too soon to test but the good thing about getting a negative HPT is that now you are sure that the HCG of the shot you took before the retrieval is out of your system so now any positive test will be the real thing.
When are you going for the beta test?
Hang in there we are here for you.
Good luck!
I had my first IVF at the end of Feb. I had a day 3 transfer, I had a lot of cramping thru the last week before getting a blood test. Also I had small amts of brown blood when I wiped after using the bathroom and thru out the day. I didn't think I was pregnant either and now I am, so just hang in there!
Good luck!
I am also in the 2ww holding pattern. I'm 6dpt3dt. It is a very llloooonnnggg two weeks isn't it. I am having some mild crampy feelings too and from what I understand it could be the embies implanting or not.....not even the nurses can give me a definite answer....every body is different in it's reactions
I have done 2 IVFs, both times w/ 5 day blasts and the first time I got a BFN at home the morning before my blood test. Then my blood test was positive, also the second time the blood test was negative and 2 weeks later I got a positive home test. So, try (and we all know how hard that is) not to stress too much over it. I would recomend (and again we all know how hard it is) trying not to test again until your BETA. And always follow your instinct, the second one (when the blood test was negative) I kept telling my DR I felt PG. I knew I was.
