spotting after misscarriage

i recently misscarried at 12 weeks on the 22/04/11 i had a d&c on the 21/04/11 to remove the pregnancy. afterwards i blead for 2 weeks and after another 4 weeks i got my period but only for 2 days witch is unusual for me. just before my period i experienced what i can only describe as light spotting of brown blood. about a week after that period i experienced the same light spotting of brown blood i had a blood pregnancy test which was negative. i was due to get my normal period on saturday just gone 11/06/11 but it still hasnt come i experienced a tiny bit of the spot bleeding of brown blood this morning again but have had nothing since. we are actively trying to conceive but are very confused about my periods and the brown spot bleeding. can you help us understand what is going on

You might have some products of conception still left in the uterus which is causing you to spot bleed, however i might be wrong. You can get one ultrasound abdomen and pelvis and meet your gynaec asap. She might also put you on hormonal therapy.
