spotting on DHEA

Hey ladies.... I'm 26 years old and have attempted ivf 3 times we were only able to get to ER once.  I respond poorly to stims.  My RE had me start taking DHEA about 2 weeks ago and wants me on it for 3 months before we do ivf.  Im currently on CD 7 and spotting has anyone else had this happen while on DHEA?

sorry i dont have an answer to your question but i was wondering why your dr put u on DHEA....i am 39years old, with low amh and normal FSH....been trying to have a second baby the past 3years on off cycles of clomid, IUI among others then 4months ago discovered low amh which means low ovarian reserve and my RE didnt recommend IVF but i wanted to try so he gave me a short intensive course of merional and only 1 follicle appeared with low Estradiol level so he cancelled IVF and did IUI 2weeks ago and just got my period so it failed.....i have read about DHEA and bought it...when i asked my RE, he didnt know of it but i hear it might help me so wondering why did yours perscribe it???sorry for not answering ur question.....

We've attempted ivf 3 times only able to get to ER once.  I was on very i doses of stim and still only produced about 4 eggs.  we did icsi and none of them fertilized.  My Estradiol levels never raised very high.  After the last attempet with no fertilization she recommended egg donation.   We took a year off and went back and said we wanted another shot.  I think she is trying everything she has in her bag at this point.  DHEA has been showen to improve the # of eggs and the quality of eggs.   ive even read that women that are taken DHEA inbetween ivf cycles have gotten pregnant on their own.  Im hoping that this is my golden ticket.
