starting progesterone suppositories

Anyone taken them that can tell me about them? How fast do you notice a difference? I had  levels of 6.14 which the dr said it is morw then twice lower then what it should be. He is strating me on 50mg. They do not have them were I live so I have to order them out. So anyone ever taken them that can tell me about them? Do you have a temp chart I can look at before and after?

Hi-I have been on progesterone suppositories for the last 3 months.  My RE has me take them morning and night in the 2 weeks after my IUI.  My lining was 7 to start-usually goes up to around 9 but I am also on prometrium.  Have you been doing IUI?  Were you on clomid?  I guess clomid natually thins the uterine lining so my RE switched me to femara.  My Walgreens didn't have the suppositories but I did get them from Target.  They are not much fun but you kind of get used to them.  Good luck!

No I just had my tubes reconnected to have a baby with my new husband and love of my life. I have lost one of each set of my twins in the past and triplets. Then I had one single birth. All four babies I had were premature and the last one was born at 23 weeks and did not make it. I had my tubes burned after that. I found out that it was due to low progesterone! I wish they had checked that back then! My proesterone was 6.14 and I start them day second night after my positive LH surge. I have to take them every 12 hours too! Did you notice anything with them? Besides the mess! Yey! Oh well it is all for our desire to have a baby so it is worth it! My sister had the IUI. How many have you done? I had to go to a special compounding pharmacy that could make them each month. I will have them shipped over night 5 hours away. I do not have a walgreens or Target here! I live in the mountains and away from everything! Literal! Best of Luck to you!!
