Dr said he really didn't see anything but kept me on same dosage and told me to come back on Thursday. Did he do any baseline testing?  Maybe that was what today was.  My RE does the baseline before a fround of IVF to check hormone levels and have a comparison of follicles.  I too went to the RE about every-other-day during the stimulization for bloodwork & ultrasound.  I was not on the same medications as you so I am not sure of dosages, etc.

Good luck to you and keep us posted please!

He just did the US... I was just concerned cuz he did not see anything from 5 days of stimulation but kept me on same meds and said we will recheck on Thursday. I thought that after 5 days he would be able to see something...but this is my 1st time doing it so I wasn't sure what to expect or not to expect.

Hi, I wrote you back on my post, but I wanted to address your question here.
When I went through stimulation and the first ultrasound, they only reported the "measurable" follicles.  My RE defined "measureable" as anything above 5 mm.  So, it may be that you have follicles, but they are not at a measurable size just yet and this is why they haven't reported them to you yet.  But, the important number they were looking from on my first visit was that my E2 had risen.  When do you go back again for your next bloodwork/ultrasound?

ok thank you so much for that cuz I was really like there's nothing there and I'm taking 5 shots a day...whewwwwwww thank you! thank you! thank you! I go back on this coming Thursday 1st for blood work and then for another ultrasound. I was upset  after this morning cuz I was looking for them to be the 12mm that they look for but duh wasn't thinking that they need to develope slowly.

Glad that helped. Trust me when I tell you that this is all very very confusing stuff. If your goal is 12 mm (mine was 15 mm, the minimum size a follicle needs to be in order to be eligible for retrieval), then it took me over a week to begin to see those sizes.  Then, after that, I would go every day for bloodwork and u/s, the seemed to grow faster then.  By the time retrieval came, the were in the 22 to 18 mm range.  The nurse said I was carrying to basketballs around with me.  The idea is that you have alot of follicle trying to grow do to all the stimulation medicine they give you.  But, the trick is that they don't overstimulate either.  Depending on the medication and how much of same, this is what will determine the success and rate of growth for your follicles.

Please let me know how you are doing??  Although I am a couple years older than you, we fall into the fertility grouping.  I am interested in knowing how things go for you.

Much much much baby dust!!!!
