I had my tube removed last year n got on bc for 5mo got off of them but i have not gt pregnant. Was taking folic acid but didnt work so what can i do.

Folic acid does not increase your chances of pregnancy.  Instead, you take it just in case you become pregnant because the fetus needs it to develop correctly.  It can take up to three months to get your period back after quitting birth control and you cannot get pregnant until you are ovulating, (usually indicated by your period).  Once that happens, a healthy couple can take up to a year of trying to get pregnant.  If you have been having regular cycles for a year with no pregnancies, you should visit your doctor and let them know.  If you are over the age of 35, you should see your doctor after trying to get pregnant for 6 months.

I agree with ylime as far as folic acid goes.  Keep trying to get pregnant.  If still not working out you can go to a reproductive Dr who can advise you of your options.  It will happen.
