If you get a negative on a pregnancy test, one of three things is true.
1. You are not pregnant.
(or)
2. You tested too soon. You should not test until you have been at least two weeks after the last unprotected sex, and preferably shouldn't test until you have missed a period or at least the first day of an expected period.
(or)
3. You tested with urine that was not concentrated enough. The instructions say to use first-morning urine for a reason. The hCG in the urine will not register on a test if you have had several large glasses of water in the previous hour, for example. Even if you are pregnant.
i dont understand . can you explain
It depends on if you are taking the tests according to the directions, especially, not taking them too soon, and not taking them with dilute urine.
