tested 11 days after transfer

I am new to this site, and its giving me some comfort.
I did a transfer on the 08/13 and today I tested with hpt, 11 days after transfer and it turned out negative.
I was mortified, sad and all hope wanished. Then I started reading on this site, and I realize there is still hope.
Is there anyone who has tested negative on the 11th day after transfer and then turned positive later?
I tranfered 2 embryos, 1x2 cell and, 1x4 cell.
trying desperatly to keep my hopes up, my blood test is in 3 days.

Was this a day 3 transfer?  
I did not test before my beta but I just wanted to wish you luck and a positive blood test in 3 days.

I have tested on the day before my BETA and got NEG and then got BFP w/ BETA. Don't give up yet.

I haven't had my beta yet- just had my transfer on Thursday (8/21), but I think you probably tested way too early.  You have to give yourself time for your hcg level to go up enough to register with a urine test.  That is why they do a blood test instead of a urine test at the dr. office.

I actually tested the day of my beta, and the hpt was BFN... had the beta about 45 minutes later, and BFP -- DD is now 2!!!  Good luck!!!

I am 9dp3dt and it is killing me not to test. These ladies are right don't make your sick with worry on the results of a HPT, many of them don't register until you are 25-50 ml depending on the HPT. Wait for the beta.

You have no idea how much this helps, now I kind of think it can go either way :)
And by the way, Im 40 and doing this on my own with a donor.
Havent been so lucky to find a man in my life, so I decided to go on my own, rather than loose my chances to be a mother in this life.

When is your beta test? I also had a two day transfer.  Seems like alot of other people have 3 or 5 day transfers, so I was glad to see that you did a 2 day as well!

I too had an 8/13 transfer, but of day 5 embryos. I tested negative on the hpt until 8/23.
all previous hpt before them were negative. sometime implantation doesn't occur as soon in some as it does in others. My beta test done today was 848. I hope your news is good- don't make yourself crazy worrying. Best of luck.

My beta test is tomorrow.
Yes, I noticed about the 3 and 5 day transfer, but I have read comments from doctors that the uterus is a better place for the embryos to grow than in the lab.
Also this clinic where I go to is in Iceland and has a very high success rate, so I trust them completely.

Im sorry to say that it didnt work for me this time.
But Im back on track, and going for the second try straight away.
My doctor said its fine if Im mentally up to it, which I am.
So in 2 weeks I start my meds again. Im wondering if anyone has some good ideas about vitamins or food that would help.
Before the first one, I took a lot of icelandic herbs, vitex, **** quai and folic acid.
Had no coffee, alcohol or strong food and did acupuncture regularly.
Any suggestions ?
And how did it go for you sarbear11, I really hope you had a positive result, please let me know !

On July 5th I did a 5 day fresh transfer of 2 embies. Everything was perfect with my levels. We thought for sure this was a good to go thing. On day 10 I took a HPT and it was negative. I went for my BETA 3 days later and it was 118 then 228 48 hours later. At 6 weeks I m/c both babies. I k now how you feel. But, I went right back after it and we are now on our 2nd try but with an FET. I t has not even been a month since my m/c and my RE is telling me this is the best time to try again. FET is more relaxing and less hormonal than the 1st IVF fresh cycle. This time, I am going to wait until my BETA so I dont make myself sick with anticipation or worry. I wish all the best luck. I know its hard, I'm there too. :)

Im back again, did my transfer yesterday, had assisted hatching and giving myself blood thinning shoots.
Had 2 embies transferred.
How did it go with you ? What is FET ?

hi girls I am new aswell. had my day 10 hpt toady it was negtive. all my hopes are gone. is there still a chance that I am preg?have my preg test tommrrow.am very scared that it is going to be negative again.

I had a transfer of three good quality embies on day 3. That was 10/11. Since then I took  hpt - three times all negative. But I am still waiting and hoping that it was too early. Pleeease reassure me it was too early, I am going crazy. My blood work is on 10/26.
