tested so early.....

hi I am into the verge of losing my sanity,i have my egg transfer last 29 of march,and tested at april 4 and my result is 4.43,i am in the borderline of being pregnant,did somebody do this dumbest thing...im so anxious to know,coz it seems days is passing very slow...need an answer immediately,to have peace of mind...

I think most of us here do test to early and I am probably the guiltiest. I don't know a lot about ivf. Dardimico may be around and she would know. She is pg w/twins right now from ivf. Don't they give you hcg shots when you do that? If so, how long does it take to get out of system? I guess the best way would be to have another hcg done 48 hrs from when you got the last one to see if going up. Or wait a few days and do hpt.

yes they gave me a shot of pregnyl at day one 5000 iu,since then nothing js a progesterone and duphaston i guess its not in my system anymore coz my second shot of pregnyl will be tomorow...worried now,but before the test i thought im preggy coz of my sensitivity of smell n puking,n dizziness spell,n sore bb's...now dont know what to do........

Sensitivity to smells is a good sign. The only thing you can really do is wait unfortunately. None of us are very good at that. If you go by the average doubling rate you may expect to see a bfp somewhere between 4/8-4/10. Maybe sooner, my hcg did triple a bit in the beginning. Some don't double though too. Nobody is the same when the rules come in. Sorry I can't help more.
