thin uterine lining & misscarriage

hi every nice person ,i am very confuse about my thin utering lining please can help my problem thank u so much.i have one birth defects on 2006 anicalophy two mc in 2007 july & 2008 december after that i want to ivf treatment doctor say my uterine lining is too thin is it 5.1mm so he give me estradiol vaterate 2mg 2tab on mornig & night about 14days after i go check up again lining is still thin so he give additional estradiol vagifem 1 tab at night put through vagina to womb after four days i want scan again my doctor says lining is still very thin this time is about 6.1mm he told me this time he can't help me anymore my lining is no improve he also says western medicine is no cure for me and ask me to try chinese medicine physician. so now i am very confuse and don't no what to do my doctor say to me i can belive or not only 18day of medication and he say my uetrus got problem  can anyone help me please....

I am sorry that you are having such a hard time of it. I would find another dr. I have never heard of a dr trying only one time, one method then saying try Chinese medicine. Nothing against Chinese medicine at all. Many women here have had great success with it.

I would think there are other treatment that can be tried. I cannot remember the dosing that I had on my estrogen when I was preparing for transfer last time. I used the estrogen patches. It seems like my dose was higher than that. I will check when I get home and reply again. I may be wrong (wouldn't be the 1st time). I will let you know for sure later.

On another note. Many drs stress the importance of uterine lining thickness for implantation. But, in ectopic pregnancies, there is no lining at all. It makes me wonder.
