trying to concieve

Hi my names Nicki and im 18 years old, i have irregular periods and have done for some time now. im trying for my first child but having some difficultie knowing when the best time is to have sexual intercourse, ive got an idea of when i ovulate but uncertain. i asked someone when do you know when you are ovualting and i got a relpy that its when the white cramy gunjy stuff comes out not long before you are due your period! but the problem is that when i think i am ovualting the next week i dont come on my period!? i dont understand it clearly and have no family to explain it to me :( could someone please help me ? thankyou Nicki xx

You may want to purchase one of those ClearBlue ovulation predictor kits to help you. You can also try taking your temperature every morning beginning with the first day of your period. Get a thermometer that measures digitally as it gives you a more accurate reading. Irregular periods or not your body should show a lower temperature before ovulation and higher temp after ovulation. Keep a journal or chart of your temps. Fertilityfriend.com is an excellent internet resource for this sort of thing.

hey  well every body is diffrent but yea when u get that white stuff  i have been told is 2 weeks after ur period but not sure i normally get it like around 14 days after my period but i would talk to ur doc they can help u better ,cuz i was like u i had inregular periods n i had to get on birth control to regulate it cuz i was not ovulatin! cuz when u dont have a period u wont ovulate ,i mean u can get preg but sometimes it takes longer u know good luck on it i been through there n i know how it feels but wish u the best
