tubal ligation reversal

Before i met my wife she had her tubes cut,tied and burned in 2003. We have been married for 3 years now and would love to have a baby and until recently we didn't think it would ever be possible. Recently she found a clinic in Georgia that does reversals. It is an expensive procedure and it is a 12 hour drive to Georgia from where we live.Does anyone know of anyone that has had the procedure done? Also we are wondering how long after the procedure does it take to become pregnant?

I would also check out dr. Perez in rio bravo Mexico. I went there and the cost was significantly less for the same procedure. They have a web site along with hundreds of testimonies from other women that have had a reversal done by him. I don't have any scar tissue and both my tubes are open per an hsg I had done. I wish you and your wife well. Oh I have also been pg twice but both ended in miscarriage. The mc's weren't related to the reversal though.

I had one done last year. 6500 dollars. I got pregnant last November and miscarried in Dec. I'm still trying to get pregnant thus far. anyone doing this procedure has to have special microscopes as our tubes are so delicate. I live in Fl and I used a great center as well. But the main surgical center is in Tampa. He repaired both of my tubes as I had them cut in 1996. 13 years ago.
