has anyone here had a tubal reversal? i have july 20 2005 and still am not pregnant.

I had a tubal reversal on January 31st 2006. I am still not pregnant but it's not from the lack of trying. As hard as I try not to get my hopes up every month I still get a little depressed everytime my period comes again.

My tubes were reversed on 12-13-05, I found out I was pregnant on 4-28-06 my hcg level was 558, because of of bad pain I went back to the er on 4-30-06 and my level was 760.Today is 5-2-06 and my level was 880, I had the injection of methothexate this morning because they said I am pregnant in my tubes. My dr. said wait 6 months to try again or the chances are extrememly high of another ectopic pregnancy> I think I got pregnant right after my period which was on 4/10/06 - 4/17/06 because when i found out they said i was about 1-3 weeks pregnant.I hope this helps someone and I also wanted to know if anyone ever got pregnant again after a tubal reversal and an ectopic pregnancy????

Hi, I had a tubal reversal March 7, 2006.  I got pregnant March 13, 2006 and in April I had a m/c and a d/c.  It is possible to conceive.  I may be pregnant now again, but I am not sure.   However, you should talk with the doctor who did your reversal.

My friend did not have tubal reversal although she thought about it, but her doctor told her that because her tubes had been clamped for so long that there may be trouble with the sperm getting through the tubes because it would still appear clamped.  She opted for IVF and is due in three weeks time.  Although it cost more, the chances of conceiving were higher.  I would check with your doctor or a specialist to get some further advice.  Good luck.
