twins one baby small gest sac

Hi,

I found out 3 weeks ago I was having twins.  Both had great heart rates but one's sac was way too small.  Baby A was perfect measuring right on with a normal sac, Baby B was measuring 5 days small with a sac that was a week behind the baby.  Measuring 5.5 when the baby was 6.5 weeks.  The heart looked great, but the doctors says baby is filling up the whole sac and I will likely lose one baby in the next few weeks after that ultrasound.

Has anyone had success with a sac measuring <5mm than the Crown to Rump Length of the baby?  If the baby survives will it have a severe deformity or problems?

I am worried sick and I am now 9 weeks 3 days, I won't know for another day whether they are both a live.

Yes, they told me I will have to see a perinatologist later in pregnancy. I am going in once a week for 4 weeks to see what the outcome is.  My dr. seemed very confident I will lose baby B, I am really this strong little baby proves him wrong.

Thank you all for your comments.
