undeveloped reproductive organs

Hi,

I am in need of sincere help either directly from you or any good reference to a Doctor or website which can help me in finding a cure for this.

It is about a daughter of my friend a 17 years old Girl. Upon noticing a delay in starting menstruation, we consulted a specialist who advised some tests and the test showed that even she has well developed external female organs; the ovaries and uterus are very small in size. In other words the whole female reproductive system is undeveloped. The doctor showed no hope but just asked for prayers and to find some modern hormonal cure to this disability.

It shocked all of us as the poor girl can’t live a normal life. She is very much intelligent, well mannered and physically fit, means no other abnormality or disability.

My question is! Is there any cure or modern technique which can grow the reproductive system to normal?
I will be thankful to you for any valuable advice / contact/ cure.

Regards,

I have a cousin who has a similar issue what was caught at about late 14 and was put on hormones.  The Dr have little hope that she will ever be able to conceive but continued hormone therapy she has developed breast and is maturing more like a women with out these issues.  If this issue was not discovered until 17 I don't believe there is anything that can be done.  We were told by the Dr that if the child is tested around normal development age 11-13 the hormone therapy can cause everything to develop correctly and allow the child to have a normal reproductive life.   Sorry this is not better news.
