update...
Hi Everyone,
just wanted to give an update...today i am 6w 5d...and went back to my RE for an ultra sound...this week i saw the heart flicker...doctor said everything looks great. i will see him one more time and then off to my obgyn. unfortunately i have been extremely sick with nausea and vomiting... so i am starting on zofran 2x daily....i am not surprised since i was on the same meds and dosage a few years ago with my pregnancy. although its total discomfort....i know my hormones are working...lol

diva_lorri.....CONGRATULATIONS!....Where under fertility treatment as well? Meaning did you go through IVF or IUI or just natural with hormones?

tricia448....So Sorry for your nausea. I am more than great aside from the mild heartburn and the constant running back and forth to the bathroom but other than that i haven't any symptoms....THANK GOD!....My only complaint is that I have an unusual sleeping pattern. I get very tired after eating and I'm up all night. I'm trying to change that or this baby will be on the same schedule...lol....I know you must be excited for your next u/s like me....we've got to compare notes!
waitn838....WOW....!How far along are you? How are your symptoms? The funny part is my bday is 7/31 and my anniversary is 8/5 due date is 8/15 and my sons bday is 8/31....LOL...its going to be a buisy month for us!....How has your u/s been? Did you see the heartbeat or too early yet?

YEAH!.....I'm so happy for you! I went to my RE today for an u/s and we seen the heart flicker too! Now my due date is Aug 15. It seems as though they miscalculated my date so I am now 7wks and counting..........How is everyone doing? Sorry I've been away but everysince my son got this darn Xbox live game for christmas, the internet for me has been tied up!....lol

My RE told me he wants 1 more u/s to check the heartbeat again before he releases me to OB/GYN! My next apt is after New Years which will be on the 2nd of Jan.

congrats that is great news. Sorry about the ms. I know that has to be difficult.
i hear ya... i took it 2x daily and never missed a dose. otherwise like you said...it didnt really help. i took it until the day i went in labor...ive been putting it off...hoping the sickness would get beter but its not... i am thankful for zofran and will start tomorrow! hopefully it kicks in quick!!!!!!
I was on zofran during my 1st pregnancy.
It really only works well if you take it continuously--my dosage was one pill every 8 hours.
At first I was just taking it "as needed" but I found that once I got to the point where I was THAT sick, that it didnt really help.
Taking it continuously (every 8 or 12 hours) is much more proactive and basically stops you from getting sick in the first place! It was a God-send to me!

Congrats...I know thats a great feeling to see that heart flicker. I am 12wk5days and I am starting zofran tomorrow. I should have been on it a long time ago but I kept thinking it would be get better soon. Hopefully it works so I can start eating and drinking water. Blessings to you!!
