vitamin e & folic acid when ttc???

i don't know if you ladies might know about vitamin e & folic acid, but i've heard it really helps & works when ttc. my auntie swears that she ttc for 2 years unsuccessful until she tried vitamin e. the thing is that i am currently taking metformin & clomid on cd 2-6. my question is will it be harmful to take vitamin e & folic acid, and will it at lease help in anyway??? thanks ladies!!!!baby dust to all ttc!

I know it is essential that you take folic acid.  I mean you should not go a day without taking it while ttc and once you're pregnant. It prevents birth defects..neural tube defects.  I didn't know about vitamin e though. I do take prenatal vitamins, I know there's folic acid in it but I don't know about vitamin e..I'll check it out..thanks!

Just a little info you might be interested in. Do not drink green tea while TTC and during the first trimester because it depletes the folic acid.

My doctor prescribed me the pre natal vitamins CITRACAL PRENATAL + DHA
I have been taking them before i got pregnant and also i will take them after birth. My doctor says those are the best vitamins. They have all this kind of vitamins like A, C, E,D3, B6, and Folic Acid. Ask your doctor about them.

It won't harm at all to take those supplements.   Taking the folic acid is good anyways because it prevents neural tube defects.

And you can't OD on the folic acid as your body uses what it needs.

I am also taking Citracal plus DHA...I like them they don't upset your stomach...I'm taking Folbic b/c I came up postive for MTHFR...

Ladies, I would like to spread the word on Geritol Tonic.  The stuff really works especially when you combine it with folic acid.  I took me one month to bet BFP at 38 years old.  I took me 13 months to get pregnant at 28 with dd #1.  I also took one baby asprin to cover all bases.  Now I am 8 weeks with a strong hb. I took me 6 months with DD#2 at 35 years old.  I also elevated my hips for 30 min.  Good luck to all

thanks for that i am taking both geritol tonic and folic acid  I'm giving it 8 months to see i got my fiannce taking geritol complete as well
