what are symptoms of low progesterone post ovulation

I am on second cycle of taking Clomid days 6-11 50mg. I had cycle monitoring which indicated that there was a good sized follicle and healthy lining of the womb on day 12. Home ovulation tests were positive day 13 and cycle monitoring day 15 indicated the follicle had disappeared. I am concerned that despite ovulation that my progesterone levels will be too low to sustain a conception. I had day 21 bloods done yesterday and am awaiting results. What symptoms should I be looking out for if my progesterone levels are too low on day 22 and can I start taking cyclogest as prescribed sooner than a positive pregnancy test might indicate? Pregnancy test today day 22 was negative but perhaps too early. S

I don't know if there are any symptoms of low progesterone to look for, the number from the 21 day test is the best way to know. Your Dr. should be able to tell you if you should start progesterone based on that number. On clomid my day 21 progesterone was way higher than when I was tested on a month with no clomid (and I was not pregnant) so clomid can give you a boost there. If you got your postitive LH day 13, that means ov probably on day 14, day 15 is 1 dpo. Day 22 only 8 dpo so definitely too early to get a positive even if you are pregnant. Good luck!
