, 4 of them were mature. RE went ahead and gave me my hcg injection and told me that my chances of conceiving are greater than women who don't do any fertility treatment. We are doing a natural cycle (no iui or ivf). i failed to ask him what my chances are. Does anyone know? Also, I should tell you that I my body is antibody resistant meaning it fights off any pregnancies (had mc) and I have to take baby asprin and heparin to get around this.
I don't know about your chances this is our 3rd cycle of femara with one iui and getting ready for another. But I have a question. What is antibody resistant, what causes it and how do they determine it??? Does it have anthing to do with blood type??
It is caused by my husband and I's chromosones. They did a simple, but expensive blood test to determine it. I would get pregnant and my body would reject the baby. One, I carried for 12 wks before I lost it. I have one son, and they said that it develops a lot of times after you have a child. So now, on cd 18 I have to give myself heparin injections twice a day to block those receptors.
I had 3 cycles done with clomit and follistim and had timed BD no IUi or IVF. I got pregnant 3 times but m/c all 3.So your chances are good.Do you know the name of the test or waht kind it was? I also will be on heparin and aspirin
No, I really don't know the name of the test. My husband and I both had to have blood drawn. It was called stenosities or something like that. I have never heard of this before and they assured me that women go on to have successful pregnancies with this. The injections are not bad, but I think the Heparin burns
