3years ago and i also discovered that i had staphylococcus aureus.I was given some antibiotics in the form of injections and tablets and it was able to treat the PID
.I'm sexually active with one partner and he too underwent treatment.Shortly after that i fell pregnant which i havent been able to achieve in 5years though not actively trying to concieve (conceive) but i had an abortion
(which i regret) ever since then,i keep having dull aches at my lower right abdomen.I went for a scan and was told that everything was normal but i had some fluid in my pouch of douglas which indicates an infection or that i had an infection in the past and recommended a HVS which came out clean but the pain is still there, though mild and intermittent it stretches to my lower back.Could this mean that i have an infection, the PID
could be ifection or it could be scarring i would ur ob for furthur testing and tell them ur concerns. u say intirmiiten pain if its only around ovualation and af it could be associated with ovary doing its job good luck
you had three years ago, and that could be causing the discomfort, but I would definitely check back with your doctor...or better yet, see a specialist (Reproductive Endocrinologist/RE). He or she would be able to not only help you rule out a possible infection, but also give you a better idea of how the PID
Here's just a little info. I used to have pain in my ovary areas. Sharp shooting pain thru ovary areas and pulling sensation and cramping in lower abdomen so I went to gyno because the pain kept getting worse. I had also had a PID in the past that was treated with no problems or damage done. But my pain got to the point that if I wasn't sitting down or sleeping I was in major pain but it started out just with ovary pain. After my gyno ruled out anything being wrong in her department I was sent to a gasterointestional and found out i have irritable bowel syndrome which was causing all the pain and had nothing to do with female organs. They said the ovary pain is not the ovaries it is the intestines since they are directly behind the ovaries and most women think it is a gyno problem but movement in intestines can make it feel like all your female organs are hurting. There is a bend in the intestines directly behind each ovary that can cause pain if intestines are irritated. So see your gyno to be safe but remember that just because you have pain in the female areas doesn't mean anything there is wrong. But if you have bathroom problems such as difficulty going like constipation or diarrea (diarrhea) or alot of gas pains pretty often it could be something gastero instead of gyno. Good Luck!!
