Now you've made me wonder, too. Next time I'm at CVS or Walgreens I'm going to compare labels, lol. If otc is same, I'd save about $15/mo.
I was told even though they look like they have the same dosage the over the counter have fillers and don't use the higher quality vitamins. Have you tried to get them from your DR office? I was paying for mine (prenate elite) and it was $30 a month (my insurance said it was a tier 3 -whatever that means) so I called to have my DR write me a script for one a little less expensive and the girl who I talked to told me to come in and get some samples. I have been getting them FREE ever since (right around the time of my DNC so Sept/Oct) They give me 3-4 packs each time I go in and they usually have a 5 to 7 day supply in each pack .I figure they have saved me around $200 which I have have spent on HPT'sand OPK's. The girls dont seem to mind since they get them free and if you are friendly with someone at the office they will "hook you up". I have even switched DR and the new grls have given them to me and I will be headed there tomorrow to get more before I run out. Super sticky baby dust to all
I asked for samples on the last visit but the said they had run out a few days ago. She gave me a script for some and told me the next time I come in she will give me a sample pack. I'm not sure how much mine cost b/c my pharmacy didn't have them in stock so they had to order them.
