I took your advise and went on the statistics link of course my clinic rates the highest and the clinic I was looking into in California isn't even on there. I am so confused and just really don't know what to do .....
Thanks for the Link !!!!
I agree, I'd maybe find another one.
Thanks guys I will do my research today.. And let you what I decide
vsentz...John's Hopkins is a great hospital. I'm originally from DE so I also know how good it is....
I think if you're willing to travel then definately do it!!! I think you could at least do some research on a few and speak to them on the phone and explain your specific situation before you fly to visit w/ them. Again, i think if it's a caring doctor and staff then they will take the time. Let us know what you decide. Things will work out!
Girl, if you are gonna fly........then i recommend mine: in Baltimore, MD......he is THE SH*T! when it comes to IVF and fertility.......his name is Dr. Howard Zacur and he is the director of the fertility medical center at Johns Hopkins.
He IS GOOD!......i had a bunch of things going on, he took care of them like it was nothing and now i am almost 7 weeks pregnant!.....that's his specialty....IVF.....
Google him......really, it's closer and you know, Johns Hopkins is one (if not the...) of the best hospitals in America....
=) Good luck to you!
I found a what seems to be a great clinic in California and the Dr. is very attentive do you think flying from Michigan to Cali is a good idea? I just want my second cycle to work and I am pretty much willing to do anything.
I don't think your over reacting at all! You should feel comfortable with your doctor and feel like he/she cares (truly cares!) about you and your results. This is a Huge part of your life and it should be personal. I think you should follow your gut. If your gonna miss this cycle anyway and have some time to do some checking in your area for another doctor i think you should. Maybe check statistics for clinics in your area thru the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/ART2005/clinics05.asp).
Good Luck!!!
