when I could get pregnant after depo

Right, well I will explain best I can. I went on the depo in may 2010, I had it every 3mths on time, until the last week in January 2011 I started bleeding (a period) I contacted the doctors and had my depo on 31st jan, which I carried on bleeding after for couple of days, only to find out later my depo was actually due on 14 feb 2011..Since having my depo on jan 31st it is still very sore where i had the injection. However I am due for my next depo nxt week but I am not going to have it anymore. so in total I have had 4 depo injections. Will it still take me as long to get my periods back, and still a long time to get pregnant, as my husband and i do want another baby. any advice will be great. thankyou

Hello, I had One shot of Depo in June 2010. And I am having difficulties ttc from one shot of Depo.  I was due to get the second shot on sept. 3rd 2010 but I didn't. My first period was  October 2010 and I have had my period 27 - 28 days since October 2010 every month til now on time. I am ttc conceive and I found out last month from my gyn I am not ovulating yet, I am having a period but no ovulation. My gyn said that the Depo is in our system for 12 weeks from last injection and period should resume after 12 weeks is up. I know every womens body is different. I was also told it can take 12-18 months ttc after Depo. Since I found out from gyn in March 2011 that I have not yet started ovulating and I am now 10 months off of shot and ttc she has given me clomid to help ovulation I'm going now on second month on may 1 st 2011 of clomid.  So I think you might want to talk to your dr about your options after you have 3 normal periods after last injection.  Hope this helps and good luck to you :)
