when do you expect to see the sac?

I'm about 6weeks, with third IVF, 2days ago, HCG about 873.
RE couldn't find anything in my uterus.  He's thinking I'm on the way of miscarry or tube pregnancy.
How do you think?  I'm so scare.  My second IVF also miscarry and could not see anything in my uterus either.
Please help.

I'm so sorry to hear this!  I have to say that my daughter wasn't seen on "camera" until I was 7 weeks...so there is absolutely still hope!  When do you go for your next HSG?

Typically to see a sac, hcg has to be 1000 to 2000 depending on the quality of the ultrasound machine.  

Your number is a little low for 5wk5d but there is still hope.  He should repeat the u/s in a couple of days.

I saw the gestational sac and yolk sac around 5.5 weeks. That was it. I am now almost 13wks pregnant and my baby is doing great and has a very strong heartbeat.  So, do not give up hope yet!!!!!

to texasangel343: do you also have IVF?  RE said with IVF, we do know exactly when we conceive, so he must see something by now.  My HCG still raise normally, but I'm bleeding in last couple days still now.  I have another HCG today, I don't have result yet.

I may have another U/S on Friday.  If he still could not see anything, they are thinking terminate my pregnancy.  I'm scare to death.

I think your hcg must be at least 1200 for an u/s tech to see the sack.  I am so sorry you are going through this.  I hope your next u/s will clear things up.

No it wasn't IVF.  I didn't think about that.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!

My HCG is 2073 2/10/09, more than double (873 on 2/8/09).
At 6 weeks, HCG above 2000, RE should see at least a gestational Sac, right?
Do you also think i'm going to have etopic pregnancy?
I'm so worried.

I'm crying all day long after I got my U/S result.
Today, I'm 6w2d, HCG still double, 2031 on 2/10/09 to 4700 on 2/13/09.
U/S still could not see any sac in the uterus.  He sent me to radiology lab and get the Stat. result as no pregnacy found in uterus as well.

He wants me to terminate this pregnancy because it puts me in the high risk of ruptrue the tube or may lead to death.

I still want to keep it and will have another U/S on 2/16/09.  What should I do now ladies?  I need your opion, please advice.

İm so sorry you are going through this.  İ just had a miscarriage in Jan, but i also had an ectopic pregnancy in July.  My fallopian tube ruptured.  İ have never been in as pain before and i have went through a having a baby (son nearly 5).  İf the doctor is sure its an ectopic pregnancy i would 100% terminate it as its life freatening and it can reduce your chances of becoming pregnant again.

But your HCG levels are doubling.  According to my doctor if its an ectopic HCG levels DONT double every 2 days and yours are.  HCG levels go up at a slightly slower pace.

My opion is wait till 16th and get your levels checked out again then take it from there.  But if you have any cramping or back ache go to doctors as that was the first signs of my tube rupturing.  İf HCG still double but no pregnancy seen i would have thought something should been seen with as high levels as that and not that the chance anymore.  Ruptured tube is a long recovery.
İ have tears running down my face just thinking about what you are going through.  My ectopic pregnancy would have been due this Wed.

I'm so sorry about your lost.  I do know how it feel.  
I have a M/C on Sep 2008 with fresh second IVF.  They could not see the sac either, I was in the terrible pain for 1 week and ready for sugery anytime in the hospital but I passed all tissue at week 6.  This time again third IVF, but sound more serious.  My DH just wants me to take the medicine to terminate it because he's worried for my health.  Today is our wedding aniversary and I just sit here cry for 2 days.  After serveral yrs in infertility treament, I'm able to end up twice BFP and M/C both at week 6 within 4 months.  I just feel to give up.
