when will I ovulate

I am trying to conceive. My LMP was on 16 april. According to ovu calc I should ovulate between 24 and 27th. When must I have intercourse? Must I skip a day in between?

Hi. Is this your first time TTC? Do you have a normal cycle preiod (period)? If you have a normal 28 day cycle (meaning you're expcting your next period on May 15) you will ovulate around day 14 (4/29). Also, you can watch for different types of cervical mucous. If it starts getting slipper and stretchy (clear like raw egg whites) then you are most fertile and you can have intercourse those days until you see dry cervical fluid. No need to do it everyday (every other day is sufficient) but if your DH has good qaulity sperm, i would do it everyday to help :) Sperm can live up to 5 days in qaulity cervical fluid (eggwhite & stretchy) If you have regular cycles, you should try the ovulation kits. If you are charting your basal temperture, you will confirm that you've ovulated with a temp rise after ovulation. Hope that helps! And good luck!
