why can't i get pregnant

i am 36 years old, and have a 5 years old boy.  When I got pregnant with my son, it was first try, everything went well, but had to have a C section cause i would not dilate.  Anyway, my husband and i decided we wanted another child, i then was 35, got pregnant again first try, but 8 weeks later, I lost the baby, ((Wow always though things like that would not happen to me))... but we didn't give up, 6 months later i got pregnant again, but 8 weeks later, MC again.... since then i went to the doctor, they tested me for thyroid problems, lupos, but that all came back OK, he said i had one good preg. i shouldn't worry, but 9 months of consistent trying and now pushing 37 years old, nothing, no luck what so ever... Is it my age?  did it have anything to do w/ my C section (i am grasping, i know) why can't i get pregnant, what steps should i take now?  please advise...thanks

I'm sorry to hear about your difficult time and your losses.  I really don't think it has anything to do with your c section.  I would talk to a fertility doctor just to take some blood work and just check and make sure that you and your husband are fine.  It could be the stress of having a mc and trying to get pregnant.  I know the doctor kept telling us...NO STRESS...sure..I use to always say.
Anyways, I am on my 2nd cycle of IVF and my doctor says I am alright and my husband is also...it is just not happening.  They can't find a logical reason why we can't get pregnant but maybe it's the stress of trying and we just aren't getting it at the right time. So I hope you and your husband will find the answers you are looking for and you will be blessed once more.
