will i be able to conceive naturally?

i have a regular 28-29 day cycle for my periods. we have been married for 1 year and 3 months now. we started trying to conceive 2 months back. We used 'safe period' method as contraception before.i am worried why i am not getting pregnant? my husband have an offshore job so its impossible to predict when he will be home(he will be home for 2 days and gone for 1 week, again comes for 3 days and so on) so we cannot be sure for him to be home when i ovulate.

i checked my horomone levels(TSH,prolactin,T4) everything is normal also had an abdominal scan whose result was also normal.
should i wait for another 3-4 months before i consult a doctor for any treatment!?

from last month i am on clomid, i dont know whether i ovulate on my own or not but one doctor told me to take it for fast conception. i am planning to take clomid for 3 months.

pls advice... i am tensed do i have to worry about my fertility? or wait for some while?

You've only been trying for 2 months. It can take a healthy couple with no problems upwards of 1-2 years to conceive naturally. You also have to bear in mind that when you are actively trying to conceive, every month you only have a 25% chance of pregnancy. Most doctors won't even see you before 6 months to even try anything. There is no real "fast" conception. It's all about charting when you ovulate and having sex on the proper days. If you don't know when you ovulate, go out and get OPKs. They help to track ovulation if you're unsure. (Beyond this I don't know how they actually work as I've never had to use them) You can also chart your Basal Body temperature, which will show a slight increase in your body temperature when you ovulate. You can read about all of these either online or talk to your doctor about them.

Hi, My husband and i just got married a month ago, and we are ttc. I have been keeping track of my cycles and i am pretty regular (28-29 days) Considering the amount of times that i "mis-calculated" before marriage, i would have thot that by now we would be pg.. i'm not going to lie, i was a little worried too... BUT i started bbt charting... and realized that, so far, im normal, i ovulate, and that when the time is right, we will be blessed with a baby.  Have you considered charting your temps??? do you know when ovulation occurs for you?? considering that your DH is away most the time, you would have to know that info and time sex accordingly....
funny, growing up i always thot that it was SO easy to get pg!
it's like a science getting it right!!
anyways, Good luck!!
